FROGTECH NZ is a consulting business applying our expertise in geological science to the exploration for and evaluation of oil and gas resources in New Zealand and the South Pacific region.

Established in 1997 as GeoSphere Ltd, we have now rebranded as FROGTECH NZ.  We have built up an extensive knowledge and database drawing on the open-file data system and our networks with leading geoscience and industry experts, enabling FROGTECH to provide a superior consultancy service identifying and evaluating prospects in New Zealand’s sedimentary basins.

FROGTECH NZ has appointed a new CEO and formed a joint venture with FROGTECH an Australian-based natural resources consultancy that provides geological, geophysical and information management services for a wide range of clients in the petroleum, groundwater, geothermal, CCS, coal, coal seam gas, shale gas and mineral sectors. 

Under this partnership FROGTECH NZ's client's are able to directly access all of FROGTECH's in-house expertise for their projects.  The CEO Dr Michael Robinson intends to rebuild the capacity of FROGTECH  NZ in conjunction with FROGTECH to better service the needs of the oil and gas sectors in and around New Zealand.
